In accordance with the published amendment to the UIPL Code regarding member companies, one of the most important updates highlights the selection of appropriate and permitted venues for organizing conferences, symposia, workshops, and all other forms of meetings.
In this context, a document titled Criteria for Hotel Acceptability has been prepared, outlining which hotels meet or do not meet the requirements in line with the Code. Most notably, this refers to the exclusion of 5-star hotels and accompanying facilities that are characterized as luxury.
The document clearly defines the types and categories of venues, their acceptability, specific conditions, and possible exceptions.
